What vehicles are compatible with Evie chargers?

Evie supports a wide variety of EV models – see our charging stations by brand, including Tesla, Polestar, BYD, Hyundai, MG, & Kia

However, some Plug-in Hybrid EVs may not be compatible with our network of public chargers.

The easiest way to check is to look at your plug type to see if it matches the connectors we have across our chargers.

Evie offers two connector types across our public charging networks:

  • CHaDeMo
  • CCS2

If you aren’t sure which plug type you have, the easiest way to tell is to check the shape of your charge port on your car. CHAdeMO and CCS2 plugs look quite different from each other.

Reference pictures are available on both the charger screen and in the Evie App so that you can be sure you are selecting the correct plug.

In the Evie App, you can also filter the map for your plug type, so you only see the number of plugs relevant to you at each station.

Tip: Check the manufacturer’s manual

If you require help with identifying your vehicle’s plug type or charging capability, we recommend consulting the manufacturer’s specifications, and user manuals, or contacting the manufacturer directly to find out. They will have the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the charging options available for their vehicles.

If your vehicle is compatible, you can find a charger near you and start charging with Evie today.
