How do I sign up for Evie Mates?

Make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of the Evie App (6.2.4 or above).

Open the Evie App, head to “Profile”, then select “Offers & Plans”. You’ll see “Evie Mates” plan displayed. Select “Choose this plan” and complete the sign up process.

Does it cost anything to join?

Nope! Evie Mates is completely free – no monthly fees, no hidden costs.

Where can I track my progress?

The Evie App shows your monthly progress, reset dates, and when your discount is active. Simply open the Evie App, go to “Profile” and select “Offers & Plans”.

I have a voucher with Evie, if I charge using the voucher will it count towards my 100kWh?

No, any kWh used and paid for via voucher doesn’t count toward your monthly target.

Can I use my voucher and Evie Mates at the same time?

No, Evie Mates can’t be combined with existing vouchers. If you have a voucher, we recommend using it first before joining Evie Mates.

Can I use my RACQ Membership discount with Evie Mates, and does it count toward my 100 kWh?

No. RACQ Membership discounts can’t be combined with Evie Mates, and any kWh charged using the RACQ discount won’t count toward your monthly 100kWh target.

How do I know if my 5c discount is applying?

When you charge via the Evie App, under the “Payment” row, you’ll see “Offer – $0.05c Off (per kWh)”. This means your discount is automatically applying to your charge session.

I reached 100kWh during my charging session, but the discount didn’t apply to that session. Why?

Your kWh is only counted towards your monthly total after each charging session is completed. This means if you reach the 100kWh threshold during a session, that session will still be charged at the full rate. The discount will apply to your next charging session onwards.

For example, if you’ve used 90kWh in a month and then do a 20kWh session (taking you to 110kWh total), that 20kWh session will be charged at the full rate, but your next session will receive the discount.

When does my plan reset?

Your plan resets monthly. You can see how many days remain in your current cycle in the Evie App.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of your current plan period. You can still enjoy the 5c discount until the end of your current plan period.

Please note: If you accidentally cancel your plan you’ll have to wait until the end of your current plan period before you can sign up to a plan again.
