How to Use Our Charging Stations in Queensland

  1. First, download the Evie Charging App and create an account. For this one-time account setup, include your preferred payment method (credit card or debit card). After activating the auto-charge on the app for your compatible vehicle, you can begin charging without any hassles.
  2. When you enable your phone’s location service, you can use the app to find your nearest Evie Networks charging station. It will enable you to access our Queensland EV charging stations map and more.
  3. When at the station, select the station location you are using on the app. Alternatively, tap ‘scan’ on your map screen and point the camera to the QR code on the charger you would like to use.
  4. Then, you simply plug your car in, ensuring the correct plug type (either CCS2 or CHAdeMo), tap the ‘start charging’ button on the screen, and your charge will get underway.
  5. Prior to leaving, it is a good idea to glance at the screen on the charger to confirm the charging has commenced and enable notifications in your Profile Settings to keep updated on its progress. You are then free to get on with your activities.
  6. Your app will notify you when the charge is finished. When your session is at an end, press ‘Stop Charge’ on the charger screen. Now you’re ready to get back on the road.

Evie Networks will email you your receipt, and the transaction will be logged into your account.

As well as selecting the usual payment methods (credit card or debit card), you can pay using a voucher in the Evie App by signing in, selecting Profile in the navigation bar and tapping on Vouchers on the list.
